Let's be honest...about who I am.

Aloha everyone! Thanks for stopping by, and checking out my world. My name is Jennifer Mazur, but some people know me as Jey Flores. I am many things, but my most current occupation is... being a mom to my adorable, smart and funny toddler Kai.

I used to sing a lot... in fact I have a few singles up on iTunes, Spotify, YouTube and such... one of my songs has over 100K streams. I toured and performed in different cities. I've worked in the music industry, but I am currently starting my own event planning business. I've always liked to be my own boss, and follow my own path, so I quit my job and decided to try and make this happen!

My life has been fun, crazy, chaotic, peaceful, enlightening, and always lived it from the heart. I am an open book. My feelings have driven most of my decisions in life (including the bad ones), but I believe because of that, it has led me to the beautiful life that I have now. No regrets!

My love life has always been full of passion, but I've had a lot of bad luck with men... until I met him. Now, I am happily married to an amazing man, who not only supports me in everything I do, but has helped me to grow so much as a person, and brings out my best qualities. He rolls with my crazy punches, my over-the-top ideas and dreams, and my idealistic world... although many times he brings me back to reality. I appreciate it though, he keeps me humble. He is definitely my soulmate, the love of my life, and an amazing father to our son.

Now that you know a bit about me, I'm sure you're wondering what you can expect from subscribing to my blog. Well, I'm just being an honest mom, who talks about how hard it is to be a mom, balancing everything in life that I got going on, and trying to stay zen. My advice only come as stories that I can share with you to give you my perspective on things, and you can take it as you wish. More importantly though, I'm here to be your friend, and always inspire and encourage you to be your best self.

I'll tell you tales of the places of love, the things I love to do, where I love to eat, the things that keep me balanced, and my struggles (but don't worry, resiliency is my middle name.... just kidding, it's "Kelly").
